The Miami Dolphins have been eliminated from the postseason following their 27-6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night.
So, while Dolphins fans prepare for the offseason, there are a number of former Dolphins who are still playing for a Super Bowl championship that they can support.
On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys are set to battle in a wild-card matchup of their own, and there are three former Dolphins on their rosters and practice squads.
Here’s a look at which players who once donned the aqua and orange will play in this one:
Cowboys CB Noah Igbinoghene
Igbinoghene was drafted by the Dolphins in the first round of the 2020 draft and played three seasons in Miami. He struggled to get on the field and was eventually traded for cornerback Kelvin Joseph during roster cuts this past year.
He appeared in 32 games for the Dolphins, recording 29 tackles, five passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and an interception.
Cowboys S Sheldrick Redwine
Redwine was signed by the Dolphins in 2021 off of the Carolina Panthers practice squad. He spent time between Miami’s active roster and practice squad before he was waived before the start of the 2022 season.
He appeared in four games for the Dolphins, recording two tackles.
Packers LS Matthew Orzech
Orzech was signed to the Dolphins practice squad in September of 2020. He never appeared in a game for Miami, as he was signed by the Tennessee Titans off of the practice squad later that season.
