Pacific friends to suffer from fossil-fuel 'hypocrisy'

Australia needs a firmer plan to transition away from fossil-fuel production to help protect Pacific nations from the effects of climate change, according to a new report.

The Australia Institute has bemoaned the government for letting words speak far louder than any climate action, repeatedly approving coal and gas projects since taking office in 2022.
