P!nk is set to get the party started on a UK and Europe tour in 2023 and she's playing two nights at Sunderland's Stadium of Light.
The multi-award winning singer, who was awarded this year's Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the Brit Awards, has made eight studio albums including 2001 smash Missundaztood! , and fans have speculated on Twitter that the new tour could be complemented by a ninth album.
The popstar, whose real name is Alecia Moore, announced the tour on her social media channels this morning, with 13 European dates, four of which are in the UK. P!nk is no stranger to the North East, kicking off her 2010 tour in the region - though her most recent Beautiful Trauma tour only had dates in Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool and London.

This time round, her first tour date clashes with a huge gig in Newcastle at St James' Park. Sam Fender is playing the second of his two sold-out shows on Friday June 10, the first P!nk date.
So what? You might think, but two huge gigs at stadiums in both Newcastle and Sunderland could mean trouble for people travelling around the region. Fans can still see both artists if they wish though, with those who already have tickets to Sam Fender able to buy tickets for P!nk's second show on Saturday June 11.
For now, there is a lot of excitement following the announcement. The Stadium of Light also revealed the gigs on its social media accounts this morning, with tickets going on sale at 10am on Friday October 14 on Ticketmaster.
But the question many of us will be asking - will P!nk raise a glass with Sam Fender after their respective shows?
