- Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi paid tribute on the first anniversary of his "dear friend" Ozzy Osbourne 's death, expressing disbelief “that he’s not with us”.
- Osbourne, known as the Prince of Darkness and a co-founder of Black Sabbath, died aged 76 last July, shortly after a farewell concert with his bandmates.

- His wife, Sharon Osbourne, told BBC Radio West Midlands: “He never tried to be anything other than what he was, and he would tell you the truth about everything and that was him, you knew where you were with him.”
