Ozzy Osbourne to return home to UK as he is 'fed up' with 'people getting killed every day'

Ozzy Osbourne is set to return home to the UK after reportedly being concerned over the increasing number of mass shootings in America.

The 73-year-old has spent the last two decades in California but in an interview he said he was "fed up with the number of people getting killed every day." The star, who has recently celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary with wife Sharon, owns a Grade II listen mansion in Buckinghamshire alongside their California home, the Mirror reports.

The pair have three children together, Aimee, 38, Kelly, 37, and Jack, 36, but now are reportedly returning back to the UK. Speaking to the Metro he said: "Everything’s f****** ridiculous there. I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings."

Earlier this year, the ECHO reported that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne were hoping to build a "rehabilitation wing" extension to his country estate as he battles Parkinson's disease. The Black Sabbath frontman told the world he had Parkinson's in 2020 after suffering a fall the previous year.

The couple submitted a planning application in March for a rehabilitation wing at their Grade II listed home, Welders House, which is nestled on Welders Lane, according to Buckinghamshire Live.

Ozzy previously wowed with a performance at the Commonwealth Games in home hometown of Birmingham, surprising even his bandmates who "never thought it would happen". Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi said he never thought it would happen after the lead singer had an operation recently to modify pins in his neck and spine following a bad fall at his LA home in 2019.

He told Birmingham Live : "That last operation was only a few weeks ago and doctors told Ozzy he couldn’t fly." He added: "I ended up performing solo at the opening ceremony with other musicians who I’d never met before. Ozzy then got in touch with me to see if he could come and play at the closing ceremony."
