The owners of a "beautiful little bowl food place" have announced they will be closing for good this Sunday.
Sutikku on Aigburth Road offered Japanese inspired street food and bowls, including gyoza, katsu curries and noodles. Owners Martin and Cherie shared the news with their followers on Instagram and said the past two years had been difficult and it was time for a change.
Their restaurant has amassed hundreds of five star reviews across Google, Uber Eats and Facebook since it arrived in Liverpool in 2021, and both thanked their customers for their support.

In a statement on social media, they said: "We are sorry to say this but on Sunday 18 we will be closing the doors of Sutikku Bowl for good. The last two years have not been easy for anyone in hospitality.
"Despite this we have managed to create an army of regulars who we will miss and a beautiful neighbourhood restaurant of which me and my wife Cherie will always be proud of! We have loved every minute of Sutikku Street Food and Sutikku Bowl but after 25 years in hospitality it is time for a change of direction for me, life is very short and I want to spend my time with my loved ones and living a little more.
"There are too many people to thank BUT if you helped us to set up Sutikku, worked alongside us in the markets or at Sutikku bowl or spent your hard earned cash with us at any point we thank you with all our hearts and even more! What a journey we've had with you all and appreciation doesn't even come close!
"Thank you, Martin & Cherie"
They added that they will continue to open as usual so that anyone who wants a last meal with Suitkku can have their chance: "For now we are open as usual from Thursday and Friday 5pm and for Brunch 1030 till 3pm Sat Sun and again Sat Sun night from 5pm.
"We would love as many of you to come and eat and drink with us one last time as wave goodbye to our beautiful little bowl food place."
