The co-owners of a high-end hairdressing group were given the Royal seal of approval recently.
Rainbow Room International has salons in East Kilbride and Uddingston and Alan and Linda Stewart were awarded an OBE for Services to Hairdressing.
They attended an investiture ceremony held at The Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, where they received their OBEs from Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.
