The owner of a Wexford service station that sold Saturday night’s winning €2million Lotto ticket has said she can “barely speak”.
Catherine Canavan revealed the windfall was the biggest price they ever sold at their Londis shop in Gorey.
Saturday’s win marks the third time in just 10 days that the National Lottery jackpot has been won after the lucky punter purchased a quick pick ticket on the day of the draw.

Catherine said: “I’m so excited, I can barely speak.
"This is the biggest prize that we have ever sold so there is certain to be great excitement around as soon as the news gets out.
“We’re a busy little shop out in the middle of nowhere. We’ve been running the service station sixteen years and most of our staff have been with us since the very first day.”
She added: “We’ve been kept going over the years by our amazing local customers.
“They are fantastic to us, and I’m so delighted someone has won this life-changing amount of money. We wish the winner the very best of luck with their prize”
Lotto bosses have confirmed the lucky winner has yet to come forward.
The winning numbers were 7, 19, 24, 30, 36, 44, and the bonus was 41.
Saturday’s jackpot win is the 10th of this year after ones in Mayo, Wexford, Kilkenny, Galway, two in Meath and three in Dublin.
The Lotto was embroiled in controversy last year when the top prize was not won between June last year and January.
That drought was only put to an end on January 15 when Lotto chiefs introduced a “must-win” €19million jackpot draw.
Fine Gael TD Bernard Durkan spoke out about the lack of a winner for such a long period. It led to Lotto bosses appearing before an Oireachtas committee in December.
The panel was told the operator was seeking regulatory approval to introduce a must-be-won draw to avoid jackpots rolling over for months without a winner.
