Owner of shop that sold €19m Lotto ticket reacts to 'fantastic' win

The owner of the luckiest shop in Mayo has told RTE's Claire Byrne the news has been 'just fantastic'.

The National Lottery confirmed on Wednesday that Ireland's newest multi-millionaire bought the sought-after €19m winning ticket from Laura's XL store on Hopkins Road in Castlebar on Saturday, January 15.

Laura Scriney told Claire she has only been in business since 2019 and just can't believe her luck to have sold the historic ticket.
