A family is furious that the kennel where their dog died while they were on holiday cremated the pet without telling them beforehand. Adam Gardner McLean left two-year-old French Bulldog Pablo with Scrub a Dug Dug in Whitburn, West Lothian, while he went on holiday,.
He travelled to Turkey on June 9 with partner Gemma Allan, 29, and son Cody, eight. But 11 days into their trip, the car salesman received a devastating text message from the kennel that Pablo had passed away. Kennel owner Joan Barr then revealed she had already cremated the pet before informing the family he had died.
"I got a text from Joan saying she had been trying to get a hold of us but our phones never rang," Adam, from Longridge, told the Daily Record. "She said she found Pablo dead after taking him for a walk earlier in the morning and that he had been sick.
