Born in Owatonna, Minnesota, in 1986, Adam Young began Owl City as a basement project, uploading tracks to MySpace in the mid-2000s. His breakout moment came in 2009 with Ocean Eyes and the global hit Fireflies, which topped charts in 26 countries. Known for his introverted personality, Young has always let the music speak louder than his name.
Over the years, Owl City has produced multiple successful albums, including All Things Bright and Beautiful (2011), The Midsummer Station (2012), and Mobile Orchestra (2015). His collaborations, such as Good Time with Carly Rae Jepsen, cemented his place in pop culture.
