Owen Warner sparks concern as he admits he's losing weight on I'm A Celebrity

Owen Warner has sparked concern after admitting he's losing weight on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The Hollyoaks hunk, 23, has been deprived of full meals after a series of less than impressive trials have left the campmates hungry.

Speaking on last night's show, the actor said he was "wasting away" - albeit with a grin on his face.

Readily admitting he's 'not the sharpest tool in the box', fans have taken to Owen with his fabulous faux pas, but several were concerned after they saw him in the Bush Telegraph.

One tweeted: "Poor Owen you can actually see him losing weight and energy- someone send that lad in some butties #ImACeleb."

Another said: "Poor Owen is losing so much weight. His face is getting thinner."

While a third predicted: "Owen is a gym bunny, he's used to big meals of chicken and protein, he's gonna drop a lot of weight. #ImACeleb."

The camp have had little to feast on in recent days after a series of disastrous challenges.

On Tuesday's show Boy George, Babatunde and Chris brought back two stars while in last night's episode the former Radio 1 DJ only collected one.

Admitting he was embarrassed about his efforts underwater with a series of spanners, Chris made his way back to camp telling the gang they wouldn't be getting much scran.

Subsequently, the 'love from above' was predictably paltry with just a "bony fish" to be split between the campmates.

However, there was hope for Owen on the horizon.

Ant and Dec told the gang three of them were going to a surf and turf BBQ on the beach - with the actor practically salivating at the thought.

The campmates were then split into groups to try and bag some balls - with the winners of the challenges heading for the beach.

Matt Hancock, Mike Tindall, Scarlette Douglas and Seann Walsh were first to step up to the plate and awarded themselves a ball each after all completing the challenge.

However, when Sue Cleaver and Jill Scott got involved they decided to give their ball to Owen because they knew how hungry he was.

Sitting in the Bush Telegraph, overcome with emotion, the actor said how grateful he was to the women, adding he had a 'lot of love for them'.

Sadly, in a preview of tonight's show, Owen doesn't get to fill his boots.

A clip of Matt, Jill and Sue shows the trio tucking into the bonza BBQ, as the crystal-clear waves lap the shore.

•I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is on ITV on Thursday at 9pm
