Owen Hargreaves has urged Erik ten Hag to stick with difference-maker Alejandro Garnacho after the Manchester United starlet opened his account against Real Sociedad.
Garnacho has been a shining light for United in their last two Europa League outings and the teenager marked his latest start for the club with his first senior goal. It was a special moment for the youngster as the goal was assisted by his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, and the two celebrated together.
Next up for United is a return to Premier League duty against Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon. And with lingering selection doubts over Antony, Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial, manager Ten Hag could yet again call upon his rising star.

Speaking about the Madrid-born forward, Hargreaves told BT Sport: "Going off the evidence that we've seen, he's played twice and he's been amazing. Two games so far and he's been the difference-maker.
"I'm proud of him. When you step onto that stage as a young guy you never know, sink or swim.
"He's done a great job and that is the great thing about young kids, they play with enthusiasm. Every time he gets the ball he runs forward, it's great to see him embrace with Cristiano. United have looked to play long balls and it's worked, so credit to them. It's an incredible rise for the young man."
During his pre-match analysis, Hargreaves added: "Rightly so [United have confidence in him]. He's given us a lot of confidence watching him play. With young guys they have never really failed - they want to grab the moment with both hands and he did that with his first opportunity."
