Adolescence is the stand-out show of the year so far. The drama about a 13 year-old boy accused of murdering a young girl is blowing everyone away with its audacious approach to youth violence and its effect on families, with each episode shot in one take.
The performances are outstanding, with Stephen Graham, Christine Tremarco, Ashley Walters and Erin Doherty all bringing their A-games to the table. But none more so than young Owen Cooper, who plays young Jamie Miller, the child at the centre of the drama.
