Although Overwatch fans’ main concern right now is whether they’ll be one of the lucky few to gain access to the Overwatch 2 beta, there’s something else for them to look forward to over the next few months. If you’re an Amazon Prime Gaming member, you’ll be able to claim free loot boxes.
From today until September, you can claim monthly drops, which will bestow a total of four Legendary loot boxes and three standard loot boxes upon you. You have until April 27 to claim the first drop, which includes a Legendary loot box. So, if you’re missing out on some Legendary cosmetics, you might get lucky and score them with these.
The loot box freebies come as a new partnership between Amazon and Blizzard. Players of the publisher’s other games will be able to claim freebies in the coming months. Hearthstone players, for instance, can snag four random, guaranteed Legendary cards and three standard card packs through monthly drops until September. World of Warcraft and Starcraft: Remastered fans will be able to collect in-game items from Prime Gaming later too.
Also in April, Prime Gaming members will be able to claim in-game items for a bunch of other titles, including Lost Ark, League of Legends, Fall Guys, FIFA 22, Rainbow Six Siege, Battlefield 2042, Apex Legends and Grand Theft Auto Online.
