Ramattra, Overwatch 2’s latest hero, shouldn’t require a massive grind to obtain this upcoming season.
“After reviewing data for Season 1, we’re moving Ramattra in to Tier 45 of the Battle Pass and making a few more weekly challenges easier to complete,” Aaron Keller, Overwatch 2 game director, said on Twitter. “Excited for you all to see everything new in Season 2 starting tomorrow!”
Season 2 is already out on all available platforms and launches with 80 reward tiers on its battle pass. So you’ll have to get through more than half of it to unlock Ramattra – which is far more generous than most were predicting.
Overwatch 2 faced staunch criticism at launch regarding Season 1’s battle pass. More specifically, how difficult it was to unlock Kiriko via the free tier rewards – a mistake Blizzard is seemingly avoiding with Season 2. Well, it’s trying to, in any event.
In response to Overwatch 2‘s rocky launch, the development team is making sweeping changes with Season 2. More skins and events are coming, along with plenty of balance changes for newer heroes. Despite the aforementioned hurdles, Overwatch 2 brought in more than 35 million players in October.
