New Delhi: Special Cell of Delhi Police on Thursday arrested three people from the African continent who are allegedly part of an international narcotics Drugs Syndicate.
The police have seized from them 6.044 kg of methaqualone and 2.058 kg of heroin worth more than Rs40Cr in the international market.
According to police, they were also staying illegally in the country.
"Three Delhi-based, illegally staying citizens of African origin, including two Nigerian and one Sierra Leone nationals associated with an Inter-National Narcotics Drugs Syndicate have been arrested by Special Cell," said a statement by the Delhi Police.
Fake VISAs and Passports have also been seized from them, said the police. (with ANI input)
