Over half of Brits have planned trips based on movie or TV show filming locations

Over half of film and TV lovers (53%) have booked trips or days out to locations purely based on seeing them on screen – with London's Tower Bridge, featured in BBC spy thriller Killing Eve, top of the filming destination travel wish list.

Hit shows including Coronation Street, Downton Abbey, Poldark, and Bridgerton have inspired trips around the UK for many, with nearly three in five (58%) claiming the sites were even better than they expected in person.

And Cornwall is high on the wish list for TV fans, to see the home of Doc Martin in Port Isaac, as well as St Michael's Mount and Holywell Bay Beach, both featured in popular HBO show House of the Dragon.
