Recently, over 80 individuals came together in Coimbatore city, Tamil Nadu, India, to participate in a significant initiative led by the Environmentalist Foundation of India (EFI). The project aimed to restore a once-thriving pond that had fallen victim to invasive weeds and construction debris.
Under the guidance of EFI, the enthusiastic volunteers planted more than 400 palm seeds in the area that was previously occupied by the pond. This collective effort signifies a crucial step towards rejuvenating the ecosystem and preserving the natural habitat in the region.
