Over 44.73 crore Ayushman cards generated under AB-PMJAY: Govt

New Delhi: More than 44.73 crore Ayushman cards have been created under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), while over 12.69 crore hospital admissions worth Rs 1.92 lakh crore have been authorised under the scheme, the Parliament was told on Tuesday.

Replying to a question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Health Prataprao Jadhav said that as of July 22, 2026, a total of 44.73 crore Ayushman cards had been generated under AB-PMJAY.
