Over 400 rescued after hill slip disrupts Kalka-Shimla train run

Kalka SHIMLA Northern Railway Railways

At least 391 passengers and 40 train crew members were evacuated to Kalka after a hill slip disrupted operations on the Kalka-Shimla route, leaving a portion of a connecting bridge exposed, Northern Railway said on Sunday.

The hill slip, triggered by incessant rainfall, damaged the track section between Koti and Ghumman stations on Saturday night.
