
Fifteen men have been executed in the United States this year, and twelve more are scheduled to die in the coming months, as the use of capital punishment continues in the country. According to the Death Penalty Information Center, eight states have scheduled executions for the remainder of 2025.
The next execution is scheduled for Thursday in Florida, where Glen Rogers is set to die by lethal injection. Further executions are planned in Texas and Indiana on May 20th, and in Tennessee on May 22nd.
