Nottingham Forest coaching stalwart Gary Brazil has heaped praise on academy graduate Ryan Yates.
Yates earned praise from the football world for his midfield performance as Forest beat Huddersfield in the last 16 of the FA Cup on Monday evening.
The Forest man has made 117 appearances for the club in all competitions since breaking through in the 2018-19 season.
On Monday night he scored his sixth goal of the season to guarantee a quarter-final tie against Liverpool.
He is Forest through and through and has earned praise from head coach Steve Cooper for his day-to-day professionalism and attitude at the club.
Brazil, who is now the club's director of professional development, echoed Cooper's sentiments with some glowing words for Yates on social media after the match.
"Yatesy so deserves every ounce of overdue praise coming his way," Brazil wrote on Twitter.
"A manager and coach's dream and a pro’s pro. He will continue to improve because he never wastes a day to do so. Outstanding person and a lovely lad."
