Christa Pike's botched execution in Tennessee has prompted renewed criticism of the death penalty after an anti-death penalty advocate warned against any attempt to execute her again.
Pike, 50, survived a lethal injection at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution on 30 September after receiving two doses of pentobarbital.
