Sam Heughan has left fans swooning with his latest announcement that he can help them ease off into a night of slumber with a bedtime story.
The Balmaclellan-born actor, who has played Jamie Fraser on the hit historical fantasy series Outlander since 2013, announced his new collaboration with Calm. The app specialises in meditation and guided sleep stories to help users feel more rested and mindful whilst aiding them to sleep better and relax.
Sam, 42, revealed on social media he will be narrating a story for the app titled 'My Heart In The Highlands' as a bedtime story to help users get to sleep at night. He wrote in the caption: "Let me take you on a romantic journey through Scotland... that hopefully you’ll never complete.
"May I send you into a restful Scottish Slumber with my new @Calm Sleep Story," he concluded.
Fans went absolutely wild for the collaboration, and praised his narration skills in the promotional teaser released. The idea of the Scots star easing fans into a peaceful nights slumber is almost too much for some as they swoon in the comments.
One fan joked: "To bed, or to sleep? Thats the question…" While another agreed: "All I here is Sam saying “cozy blankets… let us go together…”".
"I’m afraid if I listen to Sam Heughan reading to me before I went to sleep I might have some crazy dreams!," wrote a third. Another commented: "As if anyone could SLEEP hearing you...good God man"
Outlander seasons 1-6 are available on Starz in the USA and Lionsgate+ via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
