Sam Hueghan has revealed that the biggest threat in Outlander season six to Fraser's Ridge might not be the coming Revolutionary War.
Things on Fraser's Ridge are in a precarious position at the minute as the storm of the war approaches, with Sam's character Jamie Fraser fretting over his loyalties, with the British Governor continuing to call on his help.
The arrival of a man from his past that he wasn't expecting, Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones), just adds to his growing concern as the pair once again butt heads over not only religion but also who is in charge on the Ridge.
Worse, at the end of the episode ( *Spoilers* ) it was revealed that, unbeknownst to him, his wife was self-medicating in a bid to try to get over the trauma at what happened at the hands of Lionel Brown and his gang.
Throw in the fact that his adopted son Fergus seems to be going AWOL when he is needed by his pregnant wife Marsali, and it seems. Jamie's dreams of a quiet life with his wife and family could soon go up in flames.
However, Sam has revealed that another presence from their recent past might be the biggest threat of all.
The Scottish star was speaking to Parade.com about the show's return when he stated that a couple of episodes will be the biggest this season.
“The big one is the last two episodes, I think," He said. "When the Browns come into play."
Though he didn't elaborate further, it was clear that he believes Lionel's brother Richard Brown (played by English actor Chris Larkin) will be a problem, as he seeks revenge on the Frasers for the death of his brother.
We can't wait to see what happens.
