Sam Heughan has taken a break from filming season seven of Outlander to enjoy some down time with some of his co-stars.
The 42-year-old took to his Instagram stories to share footage of him, Graham McTavish and Duncan Lacroix toasting a cocktail as they dined in Edinburgh's The Kitchin, owned by Tom Kitchin.
Sam posted a series of clips of the drinks and the stunning food at the restaurant and wrote: "Surprise Prestige Tasting menu @thekitchin celebrating @grahammctavish! Thanks to @tom_kitchin for the sublime food, all locally sourced with outstanding wine pairings… @sassenachspirits apple crumble soufflé with caramel sauce finished it (and us!) off nicely! SUPERB!"
Tom can be seen waving to the camera as he is busy whipping up some food in the kitchen, and even took to the comments of Sam's post and wrote: "Thanks for visiting @samheughan and best of luck @grahammctavish."
Other fans wrote: "Amazing food and handsome gents! Looks like a fantastic evening!"
While one said: "Everything looks very delicious. A great time with friends."
And one penned: "Good food, good drink & fun group!"
Recently, Sam teamed up with Tom, who is Scotland's youngest ever Michelin Star winner, to supply his own brand of whisky Sassenach at the Edinburgh restaurant.
Sam, who is best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in the historical fantasy series, posed alongside Graham, who is reprising his role as Dougal MacKenzie for the seventh season. Duncan, who smiles for the camera in the clip, played Murtagh Fraser in the hit series.
