Outlander fans react to new episode as drama unfolds on the Ridge

Outlander fans are absolutely loving the latest episode of the show as tensions start to rise on Fraser's Ridge.

Many took to social media to even say it was the best episode of the season yet.

In episode six, Claire falls mysteriously ill and Malva makes her move on Jamie and many of us were on the edge of our seats and totally pining for more when it ended.

At the start of the episode, the missing couple known as the McNeills are discovered dead in their home.

After Claire investigates with Malva, Marsali and Lizzie, she falls sick herself, with Jamie commenting: "You look a bit like a ghost, Sassenach."

Many took to Instagram to comment their thoughts on the latest Instagram post.

One wrote: "Amazing episode I'm still in shock..."

Another added: "Just saw it! Holy.Cow.What the?! OMG!"

While another said: "“OMG!” My exact words when it was finished. Brilliant!"

One commented: "I'm gonna need a min to process that episode. I was not ready. Great episode."

While one added: "Wow gave me goosebumps this episode was absolutely brilliant ..phenomenal acting from caitriona and Jessica was fantastic too ...Outlander just gets better and better ...season 6 is my second favourite season after season 1 of course."
