Boy, 9, who thought he had long Covid is handed bombshell cancer diagnosis

A young boy who thought he had Long Covid was handed a "bombshell" cancer diagnosis instead.

Nine-year-old Freddie Wollard from Ellsmere Port, Cheshire, tested positive for coronavirus in November 2021 and began to feel unwell.

Freddie's parents initially thought their son was suffering from Long Covid after symptoms persisted, but their worst fear was realised when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
