Moonlight Flicks Open Air Cinema is returning to Wirral and Chester this Summer with a variety of films being shown.
Moonlight Flicks is produced by Storyhouse and sees guests gather round a giant inflatable screen outdoors on deck chairs, camping chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy a film after dark. Among the locations hosting the event is Claremont Farm in Wirral and Dean’s Field at Chester Cathedral.
The screenings take place between July and September 2022, and as well as watching the film, guests can enjoy a variety of food and drink. Films being shown at Claremont Farm are Rocketman, Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, Pulp Fiction, West Side Story, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jurassic Park: The Lost World and Encanto.

Guests can enjoy the same films at Dean’s Field, but this location will also have additional screenings. These are Mamma Mia, Stand By Me, 10 Things I Hate About You, Cruella, Sister Act, House Of Gucci, Singin’ In The Rain and When Harry Met Sally.
Refreshments at Claremont Farm include street food (such as nachos, pizza and hot dogs) and a truck bar serving beer, wine, gins, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. You can order food and drink upon arrival.
Refreshments at Dean’s Field include street food and sweet treats, plus a bar serving a variety of alcoholic drinks, including craft beer, frozen cocktails, gin slushies and wine, as well as hot chocolate, tea and coffee. You can pre-order hot food and drinks for the Dean’s Field via the website.
Standard Moonlight Flicks tickets (chair not included) cost £13.50, child tickets cost £9 (chair not included) and VIP tickets (chair included and best view) cost £19.50. You can book Claremont Farm tickets here and Dean's Field tickets here.
