Big airlift of evacuees from flood-hit communities

Hundreds of evacuees have been airlifted from two flood-hit outback communities in a Top End big rivers region following "extraordinary" downpours.

Residents in one of the Aboriginal communities, Daly River, were forced to flee for a second time within weeks as water levels rise across the region.
