Dominic Calvert-Lewin has vowed to continue giving his all for Everton after experiencing what he has described as a 'difficult spell'.
The 25-year-old has been injured for the vast majority of the current campaign, having made only 13 league appearances this term. Calvert-Lewin began the season with three goals in as many matches, but is yet to find the back of the net since making his return to the team in January.
Often the player to deliver in big moments for the club, the Sheffield-born striker has not appeared his usual self in the final third and has struggled to recapture the form that preceded his toe injury. To make matters worse, he has continued to be linked with a summer exit away from Goodison Park - rumours which have left Everton's hierarchy furious.

Fully aware this has been a challenging period on a personal level, Calvert-Lewin wants to now let his feet do the talking on the pitch in the coming weeks.
"This club has shaped me into the man I am today. People can choose to believe what they read, that’s out of my control. But what is in my control is how I conduct myself on the pitch. I have always given 100% and will continue to do so, it is not in my character to give anything less," he said.
"Actions speak louder than words I know and you judge me on goals, which will come. Sometimes as a player you go through difficult spells and that is part and parcel. I am here to win and I am here to fight to the very end. Massive 3 points for us today."
