Shocking footage has shown an Amazon delivery vehicle rolling down a hill in Newport as the helpless driver runs after it. The van is seen on Ring doorbell footage slamming into two walls before the driver jumps into the open door and appears to slam the handbrake on yards before another wall.
One of the residents whose wall was crushed in the episode said the almighty bang outside was akin to a train rushing along his window. Luckily no-one was injured in the incident on Tuesday, April 4, at Stelvio Park Drive in Newport and nothing was damaged other than the two brick walls and the driveways, locals said.
Martyn Fowler, who was working from home on the day, told WalesOnline: “I heard what I can only describe as like a train right outside the door. I came to the front door and from there I could only see the wall on the right side.
