A Kirkintilloch garage at the centre of a long‑running gang feud has been deliberately torched for the second time in 16 months, in what detectives are examining as one of 84 incidents linked to a violent dispute between two of Scotland's most notorious crime families.

Police Scotland are treating the latest blaze, which broke out outside the shuttered Kelvinside Motor Company on Thursday night, as wilful fire-raising.
