Newcastle United have been linked with a plethora of talent across the January transfer window and speculation is only set to increase as Deadline Day draws nearer.
Last week, ChronicleLive compiled a list of transfer rumours that had died down since the window opened, but there have been updates in relation to those players.
The Toon were linked with a move for Ousmane Dembele prior to the window opening, and although reports linking him to Tyneside have died down, there may be another twist in the tale.

The French international held make or break talks with Barcelona boss Xavi last week, and has been told he must leave the Nou Camp in January or risks not playing for the club again.
Dembele is one of the most expensive transfers in history, but now looks set to leave the Spanish giants on a free transfer if Xavi is unable to offload him.
The 24-year-old could in theory sign pre-contract terms with a foreign club, which is where Newcastle United come into play.
It seems highly unlikely that the Magpies would move for the winger in the current window, given their lowly Premier League standing, but a stronger finish to the campaign could open the door for a summer move.
Question marks over his attitude could put a spanner in the works with Howe looking for the right characters to add to his Newcastle squad.
Elsewhere, the Magpies stepped up their pursuit of Jesse Lingard, with the Toon offering to pay £4million to sign the England international.
Lingard is currently training in Dubai with a number of Manchester United teammates, a short flight away from Newcastle's warm weather training camp in Jeddah.
The England international has turned down a new contract at Old Trafford and looks set to leave the Red Devils on a free transfer in the summer after a lack of game time.
With the World Cup in mind, Lingard is expected to leave in order to re-establish himself in the Three Lions set-up.
However, Man. United's huge 'survival clause' has left the deal at an impasse that may scupper a move.
Another transfer that had fallen quiet, which looks like it's been revived, is that of Aaron Ramsey.
Reports earlier this week claim Newcastle are trying to sign the Welsh international on loan for the remainder of the season.
The central midfielder has struggled since leaving the Premier League to join Serie A giants Juventus.
Bianconeri boss, Massimo Allegri said that Ramsey had played his final game for the Turin outfit and the Magpies are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of the former Gunner.
