Hello and welcome to this Friday morning's Our Liverpool.
I'm sure you're all relieved it's finally Friday and looking forward to a bit of a Saturday morning lie-in. Unless you're one of those people up at 6am on the dot everyday, in that case you'll be looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet until about noon when the rest of us wake up.
If you need any help thinking what to do this weekend our What's On page is full of ideas. I know some people in the office are planning on catching Sir Ian McKellen at Mother Goose but all I've got pencilled in is a couple of drinks and a belter of a Sunday afternoon for some football.

'I know he's out there ... I can just feel it'
These are the touching words spoken by Rose, the sister of Mark Garvey last spotted at a bus stop in West Derby 35 years ago.
Rose was born after Mark disappeared but promised their dad she would never stop looking for him. She said: "[H]e’s going to come home one day and when he does I'll give him the biggest hug and I won't let go. I will never stop looking for him because I know he's out there - I know he is."
Family thrown out of Mother Goose panto
The Liverpool Empire has had to apologise after security was called on a family as they waited for the curtains to open for the Mother Goose panto starring John Bishop and Ian McKellen.
John Goddard was looking to treat his wife after a "really tough labour and recovery" but his plans were thwarted by a mistaken staff member at the Empire theatre - who called security on the family and had them thrown out because they had their six-week-old baby with them.
Woman's lovely gift to new mum in memory of father
We're still running our ECHO random acts of kindness campaign, celebrating Merseyside's warm heart by asking people to tell us about the touching gestures that have made their day recently.
I spoke to Joanne yesterday after hearing about her bittersweet gesture to a new mum she has never met before in memory of her dad. Joanne and dad Francis would always go to Everton games together, and the story centres on a cute little Everton teddy bear that once adorned her dad's corner of the garden.
The campaign is still open, so tell us about the acts of kindness that've made you smile here.
