A man who died in hospital over the Easter bank holiday weekend has been named locally as 'Danny.' Police had been called to Bedford Road, Bootle on Easter Monday over concerns about a man acting 'erratically'.
Officers took the man to hospital, where he died. Danny, 33, is believed to have suffered a medical episode according to officers. Since his death, friends and loved ones have paid tribute to Danny, saying they are thinking of him and his family and describing him as "such a top lad."

Police send message to activists who intend to disrupt Grand National
Elsewhere Merseyside Police has vowed to respond to any criminal behaviour at the Grand National as an animal rights group has reportedly made plans to stage a protest. It is claimed the group intend to glue themselves to the course during the main event on Saturday.
Man falls from building in Bootle as police cordon off scene
A man has been rushed to hospital after falling off a building in Bootle. This morning the emergency services were called to a building near Vermont Street and as of earlier this afternoon a police cordon was in place as forensics were on scene.
The date Thomas Cashman's aid Paul Russell will be sentenced
The man who tried to help child killer Thomas Cashman avoid justice is to be sentenced after handing himself in. Paul Russell, 41, gave Thomas Cashman a lift and helped him move his clothes after the 34-year-old shot Olivia Pratt-Korbel last August.
He will be sentenced next month.
