This morning the city is awaiting the visit of King Charles III and Queen-Consort Camilla ahead of his Coronation next week. They are coming to the city to reveal the stage at the M&S Bank Arena as well as meet this year's UK act for the competition, Mae Muller.

Paedophile was under investigation for child sex abuse when he kidnapped girl, 6
A man was already under investigation for the sexual abuse of a child when he took pictures of a little girl playing with her friends, and then kidnapped her, subjecting her to a horrific and violent sexual attack which left her covered in blood. Lewis Jones, 24, from Allerton, has been handed a life sentence after the horrifying attack.
Gumtree builder left dying dad £18,000 out of pocket
A woman claims her parents were left £18,000 out of pocket after hiring the services of a builder from Gumtree. Laura Jones' dad David had mobility and health issues and had wanted to convert their garage into a bedroom for more independence so he could "gain some independence back."
Laura said: "At this point, it's not about recouping money. It's the fact he's still on Gumtree."
Derby Day brawl saw Liverpool FC fans hit with chairs
Two hooligans were sentenced after they were involved in a huge matchday brawl when Liverpool played Everton. CCTV footage shown to the court shows Thomas Keane and John Murray as part of a large group of Everton fans forcing their way into the St Hilda Pub on Walton Road.
