Hello and welcome to Our Liverpool.
We first reported on the death of Ste Rowley, who grew up in Liverpool, weeks ago after police confirmed a man had died after being hit by a Mercedes on the M62. Since then the true nature of the "great man" and "larger than life personality" who couldn't do enough for people has come to light.
Ste's family have now arranged his funeral - Thursday, April 13 - to give him "the send off he deserves." They ask people to wear bright and cheerful clothes as they say their final goodbyes.
