Hello and welcome to Our Liverpool.
A mum-of-two has spoken about the 'pig sty' she is living in as the communal garden outside their flat has become plagued by a vermin infestation. Becky Flattery, who has lived in a Livv Housing Group flat in Huyton for the last five years, said vermin are also living inside the flats.
She told the ECHO about how she can hear them 'in my ceiling' and even in the children's' bedroom. She said she has had to bring a mattress into the living room, where she now sleeps with all her kids.

Man's fingers and lips turned blue as he choked on leftover sausage rolls
A man who was not supposed to eat alone died after choking on a leftover sausage roll. Staff at the Naylorsfield care home in Belle Vale tried to perform the Heimlich manoeuvre on Jimmy Billingsley, who had Down's Syndrome, but could not dislodge the mass of food in his throat.
Pensioner spent weeks in hospital after falling off 'invisible' kerb
"Something needs to be done" as a kerb no one can see has reportedly caused multiple injuries. Paul Foster said his 82-year-old father-in-law was walking across the street when he fell, before a woman approached to help him.
The woman, a member of staff from a nearby pub, also fell on the kerb and broke her arm as she tried to help him.
Horror as man starts swinging machete in middle of park
Families screamed in horror as a man started to swing a machete in the middle of a busy park. Police were called to Newsham Park on Sunday as parents and children were enjoying the 20C weather.
Footage captured from the incident shows two men in blue tops running in the middle of the park while shouting at somebody off camera.
