London is obsessed with sandwiches in 2026, and so British Sandwich Week hardly feels necessary. But it’s happening nonetheless and it brings plenty of interesting collabs, chef specials and so on. Probably the most notable sandwich tale in the city today is the jambon beurre, the classic Parisian combination of French ham and butter in a baguette. Head to Naughty Piglets in Brixton for what is almost certainly the best version around.
