Oti Mabuse sends plea to Dancing On Ice bosses and admits future is in the air

Oti Mabuse has fired a 'come and get me' plea to Dancing On Ice bosses after admitting she doesn't know if they want her back.

The judge says she is still unsure if she will return for the next series of the ITV skating show.

Speaking on This Morning, the two-time Strictly Come Dancing winner explained that if execs wanted her back on the judging panel, she wouldn't think twice.

She says she loved her time on the panel alongside Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo and want to go back.

Oti says she's up for a return but is playing the waiting game.

Kickstarting the conversation, Josie Gibson asked: " Dancing on Ice has been announced, can we expect to see our Oti?"

She told hosts Craig Doyle and Josie: "I'm waiting for the contract!

"It's such an honour and a privilege to be on a big show like that, you have to be humbled when they ask you.

"But they have got to invite you - you can't just walk into ITV and say 'this is my job'.

"If they want me back, then I absolutely will."

It comes as Strictly Come Dancing was spun into chaos as its four judges - including Oti's sister - 'went to war' with BBC bosses over pay.

Shirley Ballas, 62, Craig Revel Horwood, 58, Motsi Mabuse, 42 and Anton Du Beke, 56, have asked for a wage increase on their already huge salaries.

Head judge Shirley, who is believed to be currently taking home almost £500,000 from a starting point of £180,000 in 2017, and the others, are all asking for an increase of 11%.

This would mean long-time Strictly Come Dancing star Craig, who has been on the panel since it began in 2004, would get a boost of £20,000 to his £200,000 salary.

Motsi, a professional dancer and sister of two-time Strictly winner Oti, is also reportedly asking for a bump of £22,000 to her earnings.
