Oti Mabuse says she's realising "a dream come true" as it's announced she will perform with Olympic skating icons Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean on this weekend's instalment of Dancing on Ice.
The remark comes just days after the dancer, 31, revealed that she has quit Strictly Come Dancing - with her having been a much-loved professional on the BBC competition series for seven years.
Fears had been raised for Oti's return when she was introduced on the judging panel for rival show Dancing On Ice as the replacement for John Barrowman, 54.
And in this weekend's episode, Oti is set to take to the stage herself, performing a special routine alongside her fellow judges Jayne, 64, and Christopher, 63.
The unique performance is understood to have been inspired by Oti's upcoming dance tour, I Am Here - which is a "whirlwind celebration" of her journey following her dream.
Oti will dance on a stage above the centre of the ice rink, whilst the Olympic gold medalists - and other professional skaters on the show - skate around it.
ITV has said that the performance will showcase an "exquisitely exhilarating routine," with choreography from Jayne and Christopher. It has been described as an "elaborate fusion of ice and dance."
Discussing the performance, Oti said: "It's so great to be dancing again and I can't wait for everyone to see what we've been working on for my 'I Am Here UK Tour' when we debut the show on Dancing On Ice this Sunday! Someone pinch me!"
Oti - who won Strictly on two occasions - said that dance "will always be [her] first love." She said the tour will conclude "the most amazing chapter" of her life, with her adding that it's a "way to say thank you" to her supporters.
She added: "I'm so honoured that the legendary Torvill and Dean have choreographed the talented pro skaters for this special performance. It's literally a dream come true. Thank you also to my tour cast."
Speaking about the performance, Jayne said: "We always love to experiment with new ideas and it was so much fun working alongside Oti on this brand new routine."
"It really does show how much dance and ice skating can work in unison together, we really hope the viewers enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed working on it together," she added.
And Christopher added: "This is an exciting performance which showcases dance and skating perfectly. We have loved working with Oti and the collaboration was hugely exciting for us all."
The performance comes just days after Oti announced to fans on Instagram earlier this week that she wouldn't be returning to Strictly - which she had joined in 2015.
She said: "Never easy to say goodbye. I have been part of the most amazing TV show, Strictly Come Dancing, for the past seven years and it has been an incredible time."
The dancer recalled lifting the Glitterball trophy twice and having "the best journey" with all her celebrity partners, later praising the team behind-the-scenes and fellow pros.
She expressed gratitude to the BBC, with her noting that it was the show that brought her to the UK from Germany - with her stating that she now calls the former as "home."
Oti added in her statement on social media earlier this week: "I can't put into words how difficult this decision has been, but I have decided not to return for the next series."
