Orlando Bloom has said he is “immensely proud” of his fiancée Katy Perry following her set at the Coronation Concert.
The actor – who has been engaged to Perry since 2019 – took to Instagram to share his delight at her performance, writing: "Immensely proud of you my love. You always bring the light.”
Perry commented back: “Our light” with a heart icon.
Bloom also wrote: “So proud” on a post Perry uploaded to Instagram of herself in her bespoke gold Vivienne Westwood gown.
The singer sang her hit songs in honour of the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla at the historic landmark.
It comes as official figures show that the Coronation Concert – which took place at Windsor Castle on Sunday night – was watched by an average audience of 10.1 million, according to overnight figures from the BBC.
The star-studded event at Windsor Castle, which saw performances from Perry, Lionel Richie and Take That, had a peak viewership of 12.3 million, the broadcaster said.
Kate Phillips, BBC Director of Unscripted, said: “Last night’s Coronation Concert was an unforgettable evening of spectacular performances that brought us all together in celebration.
“Against the stunning backdrop of Windsor Castle, the concert reflected many of the King’s passions and highlighted the outstanding talent we have in the UK and beyond.”
