It’s like an ice cream cone met an Oreo, but without the brain freeze.
The beloved cookie brand is releasing a limited-edition Neapolitan-flavored Oreo, which is expected to hit shelves nationwide in July.
According to Oreo’s announcement on social media, the new treats are described as “a waffle cone-flavored cookie with vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate triple-layered creme.”
The top and bottom cookies have an unusual gridded pattern to mimic the texture and appearance of waffle cones.
Mondelez International, the parent company of Oreo, celebrated the LGTBQ+ community with a Pride Pack that went on sale in May.
The limited-edition rainbow-inspired sweets — stamped with the word “proud” embossed on the top of the chocolate wafers — is a partnership in PFLAG National, the largest social service organization recognized for supporting LGBTQ+ people, their families and allies.
