Judging by what’s happening lately to the Ducks, Oregon football fans might have a lot to celebrate very soon. They were already feeling great about the future after new head coach Dan Lanning helped Georgia’s historic defense win the National Championship in January.
But while Lanning could soon give the Ducks’ faithful a College Football Playoff powerhouse, he won’t be able to do it alone. He’ll need a foundational program player. Enter 2021 top recruit and true sophomore quarterback, Ty Thompson.
On Friday night, during a throwing session at the annual Manning Academy clinic, Thompson uncorked an absolute laser downfield to the delight of everyone in attendance. The video probably doesn’t do it justice:

I mean, sure. Thompson’s in shorts and there’s no pressure, so this could be taken with a grain of salt. On the other hand: I’ll have this throw on repeat all day.
