A longtime conspiracy theorist is once again harassing a Portland, Oregon, man who lost his young daughter in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting, prosecutors say.

On November 25, 2025, authorities arrested Kevin Purfield, 57, again after allegedly stalking and repeatedly calling the victim’s workplace at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where the father now works, according to court documents.
