Home shores are beckoning for the misfiring Orange Tsunami.
After starting the AFL season with five-straight wins, GWS have lost three of their last four and are out of the top four.
Coach Adam Kingsley warns that if it keeps going like this, they will miss the finals.
It is a stark correction for one of the league's most powerful teams, who faded badly after a bright start against Essendon on Saturday and lost by 20 points at Marvel Stadium.
A week after going down to arch-rivals Sydney, the Giants again failed to match their opposition in the contest.
Kingsley noted next Saturday's twilight game against the Western Bulldogs will be first time in seven matches that they have played at their western Sydney home.
"It's really important, obviously. The fact we've won three of our last four, we want to try to get back in the winners' circle," he said.
Before losing to the Bombers and Swans, GWS beat the Brisbane Lions in Canberra after suffering their first loss of the season, also at Marvel Stadium against Carlton.
"We're not playing our best footy and we've been beaten by three pretty good teams," Kingsley said.
"Each of those teams you'd expect to finish in the top four to top six, I'd imagine.
"So what the feedback to us has been is we're not quite at that level right at this moment, and that's OK.
"But we do need to sharpen up our game and make sure that by the end of the season, we're playing our best footy."
He gave a bleak outlook if the Giants do not address their problems and improve soon.
"Our challenge ... is to be able to generate enough wins to actually qualify for finals. That's our first objective," he said.
"Based on our last month of footy, we're going to fail to do that so we need to address a couple of things."
Most damningly, Kingsley said they had lost their last two games to team who were more desperate.
"We need to tidy up some of that, we need to tidy up some of our fundamentals," he said.
After suffering what appeared to be a serious ankle injury last week, Giants star Tom Green was a rare shining light against Essendon with a game-high 34 disposals in the midfield.
