Oracle has increased the expected cost of its 2026 restructuring plan by about $700 million (£519,365,000) as the company continues to pursue efficiency measures alongside heavy spending on artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure.
The increase was disclosed in a regulatory filing submitted on Friday, 11 September. Oracle said the additional amount relates to 'additional actions that we expect to take,' lifting the expected total cost of the restructuring programme to roughly $2.8 billion (£2.077 billion).
