An optometrist has apologised to a schoolboy patient's family after a mix-up caused her to miss symptoms of a deadly condition.
Honey Rose, from London, was suspended from practising for nine months in 2020 by her professional regulator - after she missed warning signs during eight-year-old Vinnie Barker's routine eye test.
Last year the High Court ruled the suspension was too lenient and the conviction, was quashed a year later at the Court of Appeal.
